Our Muirfield Junior Pennants team was at home this week playing against Pennant Hills and came away with a very satisfying  resounding victory 5 to 1.

It was really great to see the turnaround from the previous week and all players displayed the fierce determination that has become the hallmark of this group of golfers.

Anbarasan and Fraser led the way in the first two matches and were never headed throughout the day.

Harry and Pat both had real battles on their hands with their respective matches both going to the 17th to gain a result.

The Spectators present at the 17th  were treated to outstanding approach shots by all 4 players and both matches were decided by the last putt.

Hugo and Luke dominated from the outset in high quality matches and used their home course advantage to great effect.

Once again Hugo short iron play and putting was to the fore and at one stage he was 5 up in his match.

Individual match results were as follows

Hugo won 4 & 3

Luke won 5 &4

Harry won 3 & 1

Pat Lost 2 & 1

Fraser won 4 & 3

Anbarasan won 4 & 2.

The win sees Muirfield move to 3rd position in our division.
