James Ruse Junior Match-play
The first round of this handicap match-play event kicks off on Sunday June 9th and continues over the three following Sundays with the final on June 30th.

The draw for this event can be found on the Muirfield Golf Club website in the Junior News section, where you can go to get all your information in relation to junior activities at Muirfield GC.

Sunday the 9th sees Josh Burgess, Yusuf Tajudeen, Harry Sherwood and Edi Sachdev playing 18 holes of match-play to decide the last two places in the  James Ruse Quarter finals.

Anbarasan Mitchell, Jerry Qin, Andrew Luu, Stephanie Frankcombe, Mubarak Tajudeen and Justin Hadi have been seceded directly into the quarter finals to be played on the June 16th.

Family Fun Day
If there is sufficient interest from players, parents and care givers it is planned to have a Family Fun Day on June 30th coinciding with the final of the James Ruse Match-play.

The format for the day would be a 2 person, 9 Hole Ambrose event staged on the front 9 Tyro course. Ideally teams should be made up of a junior and a parent/care giver, with any participant with a GA handicap restricted to playing with irons only, 5 iron and up.

Play would commence from 12.30 PM and should be finished in time to support the last few holes of the James Ruse final and will be followed by snacks and light refreshments as we acknowledge our Junior Match-play champion.

Junior Coaching
Junior coaching clinics remaining for June are on Sunday the 16th and 30th commencing at 12.30 PM, bookings as usual via the pro shop.
