Dear Members,

For some time now the Match Committee has been reviewing the scores recorded from and the positioning of the Black tees. The Committee recommended and the Board has approved the following conditions for the use of Black tees in all competitions.

  • Black tees will not be used during qualification for Trophy events or whilst playing in a Trophy event. If you choose to play from the black tees during any qualification round you will be deemed ineligible to qualify.
  • Men must be a minimum of 70 years old and have a daily handicap of 27 or more.
  • Ladies must be a minimum of 70 years old and have a daily handicap of 37 or more.
  • When paying for your card you must inform the Pro-Shop that you will be using the Black tees and your card will be appropriately stamped

The final change will be the relocation of the Black tee on the 17th hole. This will now be located at the foot of our regular tee boxes.

The above Conditions will commence from Monday 1st August.
