The fifth game of the series was played at home against Pennant Hills GC on Sunday 5th Feb. The day was extremely hot somewhere around 42°C.

Our team, shown below, played well with the following results:

  2. Me-Rae and Daug Kim Lost 4/2

  3. Sunny and Hoi Ra Lost 6/5 (very tough opponents)

  4. Debbie and Bruce Carter Won 3/2

  5. David and Sue Ruxton Lost 2/1

  6. Keetack and Sue Lee Won 3/1 (Reserves)

The overall result was a loss to Muirfield 3/2. The camaraderie between the two teams was fantastic.

The table below shows the standing within the division with Pennant Hills leading the division, which I think they will win. Muirfield wishes Pennant Hills all the best in the finals Series.

We have one more game to play against Shelly Beach played at Shelly Beach 12th February.

Asquith plays Pennant Hills at Pennant Hills which by my calculations indicates Asquith need to win by at least 3½/1½ to overcome PH, which is a very tall order. May the best team win.
